I’m excited to share the cover design of Alexandra Franzen’s book, 50 Ways to Say You’re Awesome. It’s a gift book of tear-out cards that feature fun compliments like “You’re the cat’s meow, the dog’s howl, and the curmudgeon’s harrumph—all rolled into one”, and “You are simply beyond.” There are too many good lines to list here, but you get the idea. I illustrated each line with simple but punchy type and iconography, and I had a blast doing it. The book is due out in September of 2013 from Sourcebooks.
