A pitch booklet for 826NYC, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching literacy and a love of language to children around the city. The goal is to bring a writers’ room to an underserved public school in East Harlem. We used simple iconography to illustrate the project goals and school statistics. We also used joyful portraits of 826 NYC students in the organization’s signature book nerd glasses.
